Two siblings missing from their residence at Sijubari in Hatigaon

GUWAHATI: Two children – siblings – are missing from the Hatigaon area in Guwahati. The two children – a 13-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy— went missing today from their residence at Sijubari in the Hatigaon in the city.

It is still to confirm if it is a kidnapping case. The police suspect that the mother of the two siblings might have taken her daughter and son away. She separated from her husband recently. "Their mother has recently-separated. Since the father was not available today, we are looking if the mother has secretly taken the two children away. The investigation is on," police sources said.
