Two youths killed in bike-tanker collision at Paltan Bazar

GUWAHATI: Two youths lost their lives after their motorcycle collided with a water tanker, at Paltan Bazar in Guwahati on Sunday night.

The deceased have been identified as Dhurba Kalita (28) from Dhirenpara and Nilotpal Nath from Fatasil Ambari. While Kalita died on the spot, Nath later succumbed to his injuries at the GMCH (Guwahati Medical College and Hospital). The driver of the tanker fled the spot.

The motorcycle and the water tanker were bearing registration numbers – AS01DF3448 and AS01CC7528 respectively.
