UCO Bank Celebrates 77th foundation day at Guwahati

GUWAHATI: UCO Bank celebrated its 77th Foundation Day on January 6, 2020.

Doyen of Indian business G D Birla established the bank with the blessings of father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. To mark the Occasion, many programmes were organized by the Bank. A Customers’ Meet was organized centrally at Guwahati.

Main programme was organized at the Zonal Office, Guwahati. A K Machary, Zonal Head led the staff reiteratingtheir Mission and Vision statements. The main activity of the day was planting of saplings. Siplukhuri Branch of the bank and its Lead Bank Offices at Dhubri, Nalbari, Golapara and Kokrajhar did massive plantation. Besides, some of the branches distributed stationery items amongst the students of primary schools and some branches organized blood donation camps.
