UDD and its Umbrella Organizations to Remain Open During this Pandemic

GUWAHATI: In the interest of public service, all officers and staffs of Urban Development Department along with organizations under Urban Development Department i.e. Directorate of Municipal Administration, Directorate of Town & Country Planning, Assam State Housing Board, Assam Urban Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY-HFA Urban), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana (DAY-NULM), Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM Urban) and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) are directed to attend office duty regularly so that no work of the Departments is hampered.

This order comes into force with immediate effect with the approval from the Minister, UDD & GDD.

It is to be mentioned here that earlier the state government due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation has directed to close down the offices, however, now the department vide an order have asked all the office bearers to attend office regularly.
