Ugratara Devalaya cancels Manasa Puja in Uzanbazar

GUWAHATI: The Ugratara Devalaya situated at Uzanbazar in Guwahati has cancelled the Nag Panchami (Manasa Puja) this year. Doloi of Ugratara Devalaya Parameswar Sarma stated in a press release that this year the Devalaya will not observe the Manasa Puja in view of the critical situation prevailing due to COVID 19 pandemic. The Naag Panchami or the Manasa Puja this year is from July 9 to July 11.
