Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal attends Cotton College Conclave 2023

GUWAHATI: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal took part in the Cotton College Conclave 2023 held in the Kalaguru Bishnuprasad Rabha Auditorium of the institution on Friday. While addressing the students and staff of the institution, he called on the youth to take an active part in the development of the country.

He also enumerated the great influence of Cotton University in terms of the intellectual, educational, and cultural development of the state and asked the students to carry the traditions forward. He also mentioned that the institution started in 1901, and since then, thousands of alumni have established themselves in key positions and worked towards the development of the region and the country.

Sarbananda Sonowal called on the students to develop a mindset of self-reliance and ensure that youth can move forward based on their efforts. Several key officials and senior professors of the university also attended the event.
