Vigilance Awareness Week – 2018: Poster designing competition for school students to be held

GUWAHATI: In accordance with the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week – 2018’, the Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam is organising a poster designing competition for school students with the theme, ‘Eradicate Corruption – Build a new India’.

Participation for the junior category will be open for students from class 1 to 5, both from government and private schools while, senior category is open for students from class 6 to 12.

According to an official communiqué, students are free to use any material or colour but must be an original hand-made painting, sketch without any second copy existing in any form. It should be an original creation and should not be a partial or complete copy of any other painting, sketch. The poster may contain any form of depiction as pictures, graphics, designs, collage, slogans or anything creative, but should strictly stick to convey the theme of – ‘Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India’. Meanwhile, the organisers have requested the interested students to submit a scan or digital photograph of the original poster by email to adgp-vac@assam police.gov.in. “The participant shall preserve the original poster for physical submission at a later date, if shortlisted for reward,” the communiqué added.
