Voluntary blood donation camp organized by BNI Brahmaputra Chapter

A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by BNI Brahmaputra Chapter on Sunday in view of the lack of blood in hospitals due to corona epidemic.

GUWAHATI: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by BNI Brahmaputra Chapter on Sunday in view of the lack of blood in hospitals due to corona epidemic. The blood donation camp, held at the Blood Bank Campus of Marwadi Hospital in Athgaon.

During camp 40 units of blood donated by the members, in which 3 women blood donors also voluntarily donated blood. Speaking about the Blood Donation camp Avinash Jalan, an active member of BNI Brahmaputra, told that the Vishal Khemani and Vivek Chaudhary are the convenor of blood donation camp. For the first time, BNI Brahmaputra organized Blood donation camp which was quite successful. All the members of the chapter participated extensively in the blood donation camp, due to which a total of 40 units of blood were collected, a press release said.
