GUWAHATI: Students of Government College of Art & Crafts, Guwahati held a wall painting programme under the theme 'autumn colours' as part of its platinum jubilee celebration year on Friday. The event was inaugurated by Krishna Goswami, principal of the college, by lighting lamp before the statue of Jibeswar Baruah, founder principal of the college.

State Cultural Affairs Bimal Borah, Additional Secretary Monidipa Sarma Borkataky, Joint Secretary Nayan Pathak, AGP spokesperson Kasturi Chutia, Central President of All Assam Chutia Students' Union Mohen Bora and Raju Chutia were present in the programme. Bimal Borah delivered the inaugural address and launched the wall painting event.
