We Will Fight Till The Last Drop of Blood: Pratibandhi Suraksha Sangstha

GUWAHATI: Pratibandhi Suraksha Sangstha Assam, organized a protest rally from the Xahitya Xabha Bhawan on Saturday against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill-2016.

Participant of the rally noted intellectual Hiren Gohain said, “In spite of incessant protests, the government is still pursuing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill-2016. This reveals the true colours of the government. At this time of state turmoil, those who choose to stay inactive are the ones who are truly disabled.”

The protest rally organized by the differently-abled section of the society on Saturday was called a good sign by Gohain. Secretary of Pratibandhi Suraksha Sangstha, Nripen Malakar commented, “They may be physically handicapped but not mentally. During the current chaos, the hale and hearty may take a backseat but not us. We will fight till the last drop of blood falls from our body.”

Before the protest rally, a meeting was organized at Lakhiram Barua Sadhan which was chaired by Prasanna Sharma to discuss the move of Pratibandhi Suraksha Sangstha towards the Bill.
