Well turns grave for three

Guwahati, June 10: Three labourers engaged in repair of rings of a well at the Mathura Nagar area in city met with tragic death on Sunday. While two labourers slipped and fell in the well and died, another worker made an attempt to save the duo by getting into the well but he too met with the same fate. The first two labourers who fell into the well and died have been identified as Habel Ali and Sonowar Hussain, while third deceased was Foroze Ali. All the three deceased hailed from Dhubri district. About three hours later the bodies of the deceased were recovered by the SDRF and the police.
