West Guwahati Police District arrested 4 thieves

GUWAHATI: A team of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) from the Bharalumukh Police Station arrested four thieves from separate places on Thursday.

Police sources said that in the first incident, Rajesh Paswan of Bhootnath Kalipur and Abdul Mazid Miyan of Bhootnath Dolki were arrested following investigation of a case of theft of a laptop and two mobile phones from the BR Phukan Road on Wednesday.

In the second incident, Anjur Ali of Sipajhar and Rafikul Islam of Chaygaon were arrested for stealing iron scrap from the bridge construction site at Bharalumukh.

The stolen materials were recovered from their possession.
