Woman commits suicide in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: A woman reportedly committed suicide in the Noonmati Marketing area here on Tuesday night by jumping in front of a running train.

The deceased, identified as Bhontia Kalita of Jonaki Nagar in Motghoria here, is survived by a one-and-a-half-year-old child and her husband, Bhushan Kalita. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
