Woman constable stabbed by her husband

Guwahati, July 19: A woman constable of Dispur police station has allegedly been stabbed by her husband. It so happened that the woman cop Ambika Devi has missing for some days and as a consequence her husband Ajay Kalita of Baksha filed an FIR at Hatigaon police station. However on Wednesday both the husband and wife appeared at Hatigaon PS and informed that they were married and that there was no difference among the duo. According to the police, soon after they had left the PS, the woman constable was stabbed by her husband. As of now Ambika Devi is undergoing treatment at GMCH in the city while Ajay Kalita is absconding.
