Woman dies in Guwahati; family suspects murder

GUWAHATI: An accident took place at Patarkuchi in the Basistha area during the wee hours of Monday, when a girl lost her life while going to Shravani Sestival for Shiv Abhisekh (Bol Bam) with a boy. The girl is identified as Gulapi Begum from Lal Ganesh, and the boy is Sudipta Bala from Dhirenpara. According to police sources, she went with the boy and met with an accident, which led to her death. After the accident, the locals informed the Basistha Police. The family members alleged that it was not an accident but a murder by Sudipta.
