World Pharmacists Day observed under global theme Transforming Global Health

GUWAHATI: Along with the rest of the world, Assam observed the World Pharmacists Day under the global theme - Transforming Global Health, on Friday.

Celebrating the occasion, general secretary of All Assam Pharmacists' Service Association (AAPSA) Sudhir Saha said, every pharmacist has been playing an important role in development of human health. Saha appealed to all pharmacists to work for the development of the society by acknowledging this year's theme - Transforming Global Health. "In the current scenario, the pharmacists are working continuously to tackle the COVID pandemic and provide essential medicines to the people," Saha added.
