GUWAHATI: At a solemn wreath-laying ceremony held at the State War Memorial, Dighalipukhuri, rich tributes were paid to the gallant soldiers who made supreme sacrifice of their lives for the nation.
Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, AVSM, General Officer Commanding, 51 Sub Area, laid wreath and paid homage to the fallen heroes by observing two-minute silence. Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha, General Officer Commanding, 51 Sub Area exhorted all ranks to rededicate themselves to the service of the nation. He added that the nation would always remain indebted to the soldiers who valiantly fought and laid down their lives to safeguard the sovereignty to our country in the highest traditions of the Indian Army.
