Youth dies in a mysterious mishap in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: In a mysterious incident, a motorbike rider named Ajit Jha sustained mortal injuries after colliding when a rope that was strung across the road in the fancy bazar area at around 6.45 am on Sunday.

According to police sources, Jha was riding his bike (AS01 DE 7745) was travelling on the MG Road from Machkhowa towards Pan Bazar when the incident occurred, Jha was knocked off the bike after the rope hit his neck and later succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital.
