Youth Falls Prey To Job Fraud In Guwahati City

GUWAHATI: One Abdul Razak Talukdar of Hailakandi, who had been residing at a rented house at Bhaskarnagar, Chandmari, accused one Nipankar Nath of Saniki Path, Baghorbari of duping him. Talukdar accused Nath of cheating him in the name of offering a job as Junior Assistant in Silchar medical College. He amassed a sum of Rs 4 lakh on March 11, 2017 and recently Rs 50 thousand from Talukdar.

The victim registered a case (36/19 U/S 406/420) at Sathgaon police station a few days back and Nath has been taken into police custody on Wednesday.
