Youth found dead at Dharmapur in Beltola area

GUWAHATI: The body of Pranjal Kalita (29) was found this morning in the adjacent of a chicken wholesalers' shop at Dharmapur in the Beltola area in Guwahati.

Pranjal was the manager of the wholesalers' shop owned by Satyajyoti Deka.

The body of Pranjal Kalita, who hailed from Nagarbera in Kamrup district, bore injury marks that led the police to assume it to be a murder case.

Satyajyoti Deka lodged an FIR at Dispur police station where a case (1110/2021) under Section 302 IPC has been registered.
