Youth kills mother in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: In a shocking incident, a youth killed his mother. The incident took place in Maligaon Rest Camp on Tuesday night. Dipankar Dey Mondal (26) killed his mother Purobi Dey Mondol (50) by hitting her with an iron rod. The accused then surrendered at Jalukbari outpost. According to police, Dipankar was addicted to intoxicating substances and alcohol.
