Zubeen Garg Striking A Chord With Audience Against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill

GUWAHATI: Zubeen Garg is set to strike a chord with his audience from Thursday when the noted singer will protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 from Tezpur.

The singer and his wife Garima Garg went to the AASU office at Swahid Nyas at Uzan Bazar in Guwahati on Wednesday. He let the AASU leaders know that his protest will continue till the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 is cancelled. The AASU leaders assured the singer of lending their support to his agitation against the Bill. Talking to the media later, Zubeen Garg said: “My agitation will continue till the Bill is cancelled. I’ll be accompanied by more artistes. I’m also going to lend my support to the agitation being carried out by the AASU.”
