102-IFT, 108 Mrityunjay declared as emergency services

GUWAHATI, August 17: The Assam has declared the emergency response services running under 102–IFT Service an ‘essential services’ under the Essential Services Maintence (Assam) Act, 1980, a press release said. The Act prohibits any strike by any person involved in running ‘102-IFT’ Services. The order remains in force for a period of six months from the date of issue of the notification, the release added. Through another notification, the Government of Assam has declared the emergency response services running under 108- Mrityunjay Ambulance as essential services under the Essential Services Maintence (Assam) Act, 1980, a press release said. The Act prohibits any strike by any person involved in running ‘108 -Mrituyonjay Ambulance’ Services. The order remains in force for a period of six months with effect from August 6, 2016
