126 villages given access to electricity

GUWAHATI, July 14: Under Decentralized Distributed Generation (DDG) Programme of Deen Dayal Upadhaya Gramin Yoja, 5,100 houses of 126 remote villages in Assam have been given access to electricity through innovative solar-DC interverless system by engaging IIT Madras, a press release said.
