5 autorickshaws seized

GUWAHATI, June 10: The inspection team of District Transport Office (DTO) today seized five auto rickshaws from Lal Ganesh and Nepali Mandir areas of Paltan Bazar in the city for violating guidelines. The team also found anomalies in the fare meters of three other rickshaws. The team collected Rs 35,000 as fines from 100 motorcycle riders for riding without helmets.
