In response to the news item published in The Sentinel on June 6, 2015 under the caption "Teaching on empty stomachs" in page 1 mentioning that contractual TET teachers are yet to receive their salaries in the Fincial Year 2015-16, it is to be clarified that salaries of all TET teachers for the months of April and May, 2015 have already been released on June 5, 2015 and credited through RTGS directly into their bank accounts.
The Minister Education, Assam has expressed deep concern over the misleading report.
