ABHISHRUTI to hit the shelves today

GUWAHATI, Sept 16: Music sensation from Assam, Abhishruti Bezbaruah matches the best in the music world. This artiste and award-winning sound designer intelligently mixes Assam folk music by bringing a whole new level of fresh rhythms and funks to her compositions.
After giving roaring hits this season, Best Debut Singer (Female) 2016 Awarded from Assam, Abhishruti Bezbaruah is all set to launch her latest album “ABHISIIRUTI” on  September 17, a folk fusion album infused with traditiol Bihu folk, a devotiol song, an autumn song and a peppy number with a social message of peace and a love song.
Abhishruti is a YouTube sensation having more than 10 lakh viewership of her Assamese hit songs and fans spanning all over the globe.
The one who made Assam, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata dance and groove to her latest Bihu track “Roi Roi Roti — The Spirit of Bihu” bagging the “Best Most Popular Music Video Award” at the Ramdhenu Viewers Choice Award 2016, Best Song of the Year 2016 and an MTV slot as well, Abhishruti is also an immensely talented sync sound and sound designer who has worked with Oscar-winner Padma Sri Dr. Resul Pookutty and tiol Award winner kul Kamte. She was also nomited for the 62nd MPSE Golden Reel Award 2015 for Best Sound Effects Editor for the Film ‘ROAR — ligers of the Sunderbans’ which was held in Los Angeles, the USA. The album launch will be held at Guwahati Racquet & Billiards, Zoo rengi on September 17 at 6 pm. The Album will be launched by Chief Minister of Assam Sarbanda Sonowal. A devotiol music video from the album will be exclusively launched on the same day itself.
‘ABHISHRUTI’ is a thematic folk fusion album comprising themes of devotion, peace, love, celebration and the autumn season. While Tohu Deeno is a devotiol number, Esacti Botaah is an autumn song, Ore Raati addressing peace, Roi Roi Roti &Tok Dekhi Mor Gaa celebrating the Spirit of Bihu and Jokore Boroxaate addressing love. The song is to the lyrics of veteran philosopher Late Radhath Phukan in the devotiol song. She has worked with the best musicians in Assam mely Diganta Bharaati, Ibson Lal Baruah, Poran (Jojo), Rakesh Baro, Anupam Konwar, Rosty Ahmed, Bulbul Deka and Diganta Bordoloi in this album.
Abhishruti Bezbaruah shared: “It took me more than one year to complete my devotiol music video. The shootings were done in various places – Mirza, Shillong, Cherrapunji and a few others. I love to take time while working. I learn things before I do something and hence it takes more time to complete. I believe people will love the new concept the video.”
As a classical singer, she has had the opportunity to work with some of the finest artistes and filmmakers of the country. Her moment of glory came when renowned filmmaker Padma Sri Muzaffar Au asked her to lend her voice to his serial ‘Zaboon-e-Ishq’. She went on to act as well as sing in Au’s opera titled ‘Gomti’ which was staged during the Lucknow Mahotsav. Her next enriching experience was to work as a playback singer in Kathak maestro Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharajji’s dance dramas titled ‘Habba Khatoon’ and ‘HoIi-Dhoom Machori’.
