ACC organizes business interactive meet

GUWAHATI, Sept 28: The Assam Chamber of Commerce (ACC) in association with its unit North East Youth and Entrepreneurs Forum (NEYEF) organized business interactive meet at NEDFI Conference Hall in the city on Wednesday.

The first session started with a semir on business interactive meet on Start Up India. Students from all the premier institutions of education of the city took part in the programme. Minister for Commerce and Industry Chandra Mohan Patowary and Hojai MLA Shiladitya Deb graced the occasion. Entrepreneurship experts and successful entrepreneurs from the state also took part in the meet.

ACC chairman Rupam Goswami laid emphasis on entrepreneurship and stated that soon Assam will witness an economic revolution if entrepreneurship is too taken up as a profession.

Patowary later iugurated “Bhavishyat- The beginning of an economic revolution” an initiative of North East Youth & Entrepreneur Forum.

A semir on “Finding a solution- school and college dropouts” was held in the second session. Assam legislative Assembly (ALA) Speaker Ranjit Kumar Dass was the chief guest of the event. Vice Chairman of Planning and Development Dipak Borthakur and Media advisor to chief minister Hrishikesh Goswami was also present.
