AGP for third front minus AUIDF

By our Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI, February 23: The move for the third front seems to have hitches and glitches even as its floating is still at the conception level.

Talking to newsmen in Guwahati today, AGP president Atul Bora said: “The AIUDF is commul. If the third front is floated minus the AIUDF, we’re going to back it. We have to work with full potential to stop the Congress and the BJP.”

Bora said that the corrupt Congress had no takers now, and taking that advantage the BJP made it to the Centre. We need to keep in mind that the NDA is more dreaded than what the UPA was.” Bora said that Union ministers were visiting the state very frequently only to woo the public who were sore for the BJP’s volte-face on a number of issues pertaining to the interests of Assam like big dam, river-linking project, land swap deal and the move for granting Indian citizenship to Bangladeshis in Assam.
