AGSU president Rajmil Ali and general secretary Raifuddin Ahmed said: “It’s a matter of shame and an unpardoble crime on the part of the government that has been blowing its own trumpet for brining wholesale change in the educatiol scerio in the State that it has not provided textbooks to the students as yet. How come is the State Education Department going to hold its gutsav on March 20, 2017, without even providing textbooks to the students? Not being able to provide textbooks to the students is tantamount to depriving the students of their rights. Under any circumstances the department has to provide textbooks to the students.”
