AGSU stages protest

GUWAHATI, Jan 8: Members of the All Guwahati Students’ Union (AGSU) today staged a protest in front of the Assam State Textbook Production and Publication Corporation (ASTPPC) office in Guwahati in support of their demand for immediate supply of textbooks to the students of classes IX and X. Even as the new academic session has begun, the corporation is yet to supply textbooks to the students of classes IX and X. The authorities assured the students of supplying the textbooks of classes IX and X by January 20.
