AGVBOA felicitates meritorious students

GUWAHATI, June 15: The Assam Gramin Vikash Bank Officers’ Association (AGVBOA) felicitated AGVK officials’ wards, who came successful in the HLSC and HS examitions with flying colours, and their parents at a function at Sri Sri Madhabdev Intertiol Auditorium in Srimanta Samkardeva Kalakshetra at Panjabari in the city on June 11, 2017.

Informing this, AGVBOA general secretary Aboni Kanta Dhing said: “While AGVK Chairman Sanjayanda iugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp, Mrigayani Kakati, a class VI student of Maharshi Vidyamandir, sang a devotiol song. ASTC MD AP Tiwari (IPS), who was the chief guest at the function, appealed to the students to set their respective goals and try to achieve that. He cited his own experiences as to how one can overcome failures in life.”

Guest of honour at the function AGVB Chairman Sanjayanda and chief guest AGVB GM Nripendra th Baishya greeted the students and expressed gratitude to their parents. AGVBOA adviser Ramkrish Sarma also greeted the students.

 AGVBOA president Musfiqur Rahman Hazarika said in his presidential address: “Hard work in studies is the key to translate students’ dream into reality.”

AGVBOA general secretary Aboni Kanta Dhing extended the vote of thanks.
