AIR, Guwahati gets 4 awards

GUWAHATI, Nov 15: All India Radion, Guwahati Centre has received as many as four Prasar Bharati awards. The awards were given away at a function organized by Prasar Bharati at New Delhi today. The regiol news of AIR, Guwahati Centre received the best news award jointly with Kolkata. The Centre’s news editor Mash Pratim Sarma bagged the best award under the head ‘bold and courageous’. While the drama on Saurav Chaliha’s fiction ‘Ghorua Ghoto’ bagged the second prize, the drama on Swapanjyoti Thakur’s ‘Eta Bhoot aru Bhobishyatar Kotha’ bagged a citation.
