AISF conducts survey on NRC update

GUWAHATI, May 26: The All India Secular Forum (AISF) has conducted a survey on NRC update process in the state in as many as ten districts and found that all people of the state want the work to be done. The Forum, however says that it has found complaints from people that in some cases the mes of many people are either misspelled, mismatch in age, fathers' mes, districts etc. "Some mes in the NRC 1951 had 'D' marks even as there was no 'D' category citizens at that time. We will submit our report to NRC coorditor," they said.
