AISF leader arrested

GUWAHATI, Sept 23: Ranjan Ali, Joint Secretary, AISF was arrested from his Hatigaon residence by Satgaon Police on Friday night. The arrest comes after a case was filed against him by an RSS activist in light of his controversial statement in social media regarding Bharat Mata Pujon, which will be observed at Ulubari in Guwahati. A case was registered against him under section 295 upon which Police personnel from Satgaon PS made the arrest on Friday night.
