Amitabh Chowdhury memorial lecture today

GUWAHATI, Dec 18: Dr. Amitabh Chowdhury Memorial Trust, a Guwahati-based charitable trust, is going to deliver the 13th ‘Dr. Amitabh Chowdhury Annual Memorial Lecture’ on December 19, 2016 on Rabindra Bhawan premises in Guwahati. This year, according to a press release, the lecture will be delivered by Ramkrish Mission Vivekanda University vice chancellor Swami Atmapriyanda on ‘Science and Religion shall Meet and Shake Hands’. The lecture is being organized annually by Dr. Amitabh Chowdhury Memorial Trust to commemorate the birthday of departed Dr. Amitabh Chowdhury. Dr Chowdhury, a product of Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH), had obtained his super specialization (M. Ch) in cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. The Trust made its humble beginning by renovating and refurbishing the Gauhati Medical College Library with latest books and jourls of Medical Science.
