GUWAHATI, Aug 20: Beauty has no age, no limit it is all about how one presents oneself, feels Mrs Amrita Dutta.

Mrs. Amrita Dutta, wife of State BJP Mazdoor Morcha general secretary Ankur Dutta, is going to represent India and the West Asia at Mrs. Universe 2017 slated to be held at Durban, South Africa from August 25 to September 2, 2017. She is the winner of Mrs. India Homemakers, 2017.

Amrita will showcase Assam silk by wearing her outfit made of gu pat designed by Jyoti & Kashmiri, Pallabi Bhaisya and ndini Borkakoty.

Amrita Dutta said: “I’m very lucky and privileged that I got the opportunity to represent Assam at the Intertiol level. Sometimes it is hard to mage time. However, support from my two daughters and husband makes everything possible for me.”

If she wins, Dutta said, she would work for women empowerment and engage herself for the cause of cancer patients, AIDS patients and for some old-age homes. “I raise my voice against violence and harassment on women. In this society all should know how to respect women in their life. Before doing any such crime on women, one should think of his mother, sister or whoever,” she added.
