AMSA opposes appointment of non-health officers

GUWAHATI, Oct 27: The Assam Medical Service Association (AMSA) has opposed the appointment of officers from non-health a cadre in the post of Director of Health Services (FW) and has urged the state government to select officers from Assam Health Service cadre either from the rank of Addl.DHS or permanent DHS by APSC selection. AMSA general secretary Dr Kak Ch Talukdar in a statement said that in protest against the government’s decision, the physicians’ body will wear black badge across the state on November 3.
