Angamuthu greets 32 toppers of district

GUWAHATI, June 1: Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner Dr. M Angamuthu welcomed all the 32 students of the district who made it to the merit list in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examition, 2016 the results of which were declared by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) yesterday.

At the function at Circuit House in the city today, Angamuthu said: “Apart from themselves, these 32 students glorified their parents, district and society. I hope they will continue to glorify themselves, their parents, district and society in the future as well. I appeal to these meritorious students not to feel satisfied at their achievements as they much more to achieve in the days ahead.”

The DC greeted each of the 32 students with a gamosa, bouquet and a citation from the district administration. The programme was conducted by the Inspector of Schools, Kamrup (M) District Circle, Khobiruddin Ahmed.  Earlier, the DC and the students exchanged their views on various issues relating to education and career options. Many of the students gave details on their career options, aims and objectives and the way to achieve them.   ADC Muktath Saikia, parents of the students and others were present at the function.
