Another officer in anti-corruption net

GUWAHATI, April 11: Vigilance and Anti-corruption sleuths of the Assam Police caught an agriculture inspector, Durgaram Baruah, red handed while accepting bribes at Ulubari Agriculture office in the city today. The officer took Rs 7,000 from a person who has been seeking a license for selling fertilizers. The man informed the sleuths of the demand of cash raised by the officer. Anti-corruption sleuths also raided Baruah’s house at Pakhamela in Hajo.
