Ansari on way to second leg to Assam

GUWAHATI, Oct 28: Like the emphasis it has been laying on the well-being of other ethnic tribes in Assam, the State BJP has been laying equal emphasis on well-being of minority people living in the State.

The Minority Morcha of the BJP in Assam has been holding various meetings in minority pockets in the State, without lagging behind the parent body of the party. State Minority Morcha president Mominul Aowal said: "After the Lok Sabha elections minority people in Assam are attracted towards the BJP. A record number of minority people have enrolled themselves as members of the BJP. The Morcha has been holding Uddipo sabhas in minority-domited areas in the State so as to woo them. On November 8, a mammoth Uddipo rally will be held at Lahorighat in gaon where tiol Minority Morcha president Abdul Rashid Ansari will take part. This is his second leg to the State this month."

According to Aowal, Ansari is arriving in the city on November 7 when he will have a meeting with the minority morcha of the party at Atal Behari Vajpayee Bhavan. He, according to Aowal, will also hold another meeting with intellectuals and leaders of some organizations in the city after the Lahorighat rally on November 8, and talk to the press on November 9.    SKILL DEVELOPMENT: Meanwhile, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) and Jamaat Ulama-E Hind Assam Pradesh would impart skill development training to 20,000 professiols with the help of tiol Skill Development Corporation and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yoja in its first phase in  Morigaon, gaon, Sonitpur, Dhubri, Goalpara, Darrang, Barpeta, lbari and Kamrup, said zrul Alam Lashkar, chief convener of the Jamaat Ulama-e-Hind Assam Pradesh.
