APCC hits out at BJP

GUWAHATI, March 15: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has said that the BJP maintaining a secret nexus with the AIUDF is glaringly visible now. In a statement issued to the press, APCC secretary Imdad Hussain said: “Even as the AIUDF has no chances of win in Upper Assam, it has fielded candidates there only to split the minority block votes so as to pave the win of the BJP. Ajmal is compelled to take the help of the BJP only to spread his business empire in Mumbai, commercial capital of the country. The people of Assam won’t let the AIUDF using the minorities of Assam as ‘security deposit’ before the BJP so as to make an entry to the commercial capital of the country to happen.”
