ASJA takes plan to groom new sports scribes

GUWAHATI, July 2: With an aim to bring fresh blood in the sports jourlism Assam Sports Jourlists' Association (ASJA) today announced a new plan for grooming the new comers. The plan was announced during the celebration programme of the World Sports Jourlists Day ON the office premises of the ASJA at RG Baruah Sports complex. The president of the Assam Sports Jourlists' Association Subodh Malla Baruah today said that in collaboration with the State Level Advisory Committee of the Sports and Youth Welfare (SLAC) they would start a skill development programme across the state from the last week of this month. Anyone, below 25 years of age and interested to develop himself as a sports jourlists, can join the programme which will be held nearly in 33 cities of the state. Experts in different fields of sports jourlism will attend this programme and also train the participants.
