Attempt to loot

GUWAHATI, June 24: Three people armed with a sword and a toy pistol made an attempt to stch Rs 14,000 and official documents from an employee of Ram Deo Agency, Sauket Mazumdar, at Lakshmi Goli in the Fancy Bazar area today. In the scuffle that followed, Sauket received injury in one of his hands. The local people, however, caught one of the three miscreants and bashed him up badly. Both Sauket and the caught miscreant are in hospital.
