Atul Chandra Baruah recalled

GUWAHATI, Dec 25: The 786th sitting of the Guwahati Alocho Chakra was held in the city today. The sitting remembered former Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) president Atul Chandra Baruah at his 16th death anniversary. Dr. bin Sarma and Dr. Rohini Baruah were also present at the sitting. Dr. Baruah delivered the Atul Chandra Baruah memorial lecture. Three books – Bhagabotor Anupom Kahini of Hiranprabha Baruah, Heidi Torali-Dhishohara and Maya Upobon of Dipika Phukan – were released on the occasion by Dr. Promod Chandra Bhattacharya and Kak Chandra Sarma.
