Award for translation works

GUWAHATI, Jan 2: Shree Marwari Hindi Pustakalaya awarded Assamese-Hindi writer Devi Prasad Bagrodia of Dibrugarh with the Sajjan Jain Memorial Award, 2015 for his contribution in literature. He translated many important Assamese books from Assamese to Hindi. The award was given by former AXX president Lakhindan Bora, who was the chief guest at the function.  The award carries Rs 21,000 cash, a citation, a shawl and a jaapi.
