Awareness meeting on border issues

GUWAHATI, Feb 10: Simanta Cheta Mancha Purvattar (SCMP) is going to hold a meeting – Akhil Bharatiya Seema Chintan Baithak – on February 11 and 12 at Kahikuchi SIRD campus in Kamrup (M) district. Addressing the press today, SCMP’s state president Dr. Kamala Kanta Saharia said: “Over 200 representatives from West Bengal, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram, besides Assam will take part at the meeting. Helping in the protection of intertiol borders, making people aware of problems relating to intertiol borders and assisting in the implementation of development programmes are the three guiding objectives of the meeting.”
