Axom vanirman Se seeks action against former BTC EM

GUWAHATI, March 19: Newly floated organization, Axom vanirman Se (ANS) today demanded immediate arrest of the tiol president of Nikhil Bharat Bengali Udabastu Samanway Samitee (NIBBUSS), Subodh Biswas along with ex-BTC Executive Member (EM) Rabindra Biswas, who allegedly made a derogatory remark against the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) following the attack at AASU office at Silapathar on March 6. 
Addressing a press conference here today ANS president Prabin Baishya said, “We have demanded immediate arrest of NIBBUS president, Subodh Biswas, the prime accused of Silapathar incident and former EM of BTC Rabin Biswas. We have appealed the every organization of the State register protest against Rabindra Biswas, who made derogatory remark against AASU.”
He also expressed surprise over the silence of AASU leadership on the issue even after making a lewd comment against the student body.
Biswas, whose members and supporters had attacked the AASU office at Silapathar, reportedly fled the state a few days after the incident.
