AYP forms city committee

GUWAHATI, Nov 18: The Asom Yuva Parishad (AYP), the youth wing of the AGP, formed its Guwahati City Committee today with Piju Deka as the president.  The meeting that formed the new AYP city committee was attended, among others, by founder AGP president and former Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta, general secretaries Kamala Kanta Kalita and Ramendra rayan Kalita, former MP Birendra Prasad Baishya, MLA Satyabrata Kalita, AYP central committee president Sunil Deka, working presidents Tapan Das and Jitu Borgohain. Jayanta th was the observer. Meanwhile, the AYP is going to hold its fifth triennial general conference on November 21, 2016 at the AGP head office at Ambari in the city.
