Bar Association stir continues

GUWAHATI, Sept 4: Members of the Gauhati High Court Bar Association took out a procession in the city shouting slogans against Chief Justice (acting) K Shredhar Rao today. Earlier in the day, the bar association members staged a dhar in front of the High Court. Meanwhile, the bench of Justice T Bhaipei and Justice Suman Sen today heard the PIL filed by senior advocates Bhaskar Deb Konwar and Benudhar Das. The bench directed the formation of a grievance committee within ten days. The Bar Association, however, said that if the grievances committee is not formed within the time stipulated by the High Court, they will resort to agitation again.
